TVP, the Technology Voucher Programme is a programme to subsidise local small and medium enterprises, SMEs in using technological services and solutions to improve productivity, or upgrade or transform their business processes. The company which are registered in Hong Kong under the Business Registration Ordinance; Incorporated and registered in Hong Kong under the Companies Ordinance; Established in Hong Kong by relevant ordinances as statutory bodies; and not a government subvented organisation or subsidiary of any government subvented organisation. And with substantive business operation in Hong Kong which is related to the project under application at the time of application are eligible to apply for the voucher programme. The funds from TVP can be used to cover the technology consultancy fees, purchase, rental or subscription of customised equipment/hardware, software and technological services or solutions that form an essential part of the project; Purchase, rental or subscription of off-the-shelf/readily available equipment/hardware, software and technological services or solutions that form an essential part of the project.
The funding amount is up to $400,000 for each eligible applicant and it will be provided on a 2:1 ratio matching basis. Project auditing for projects with approved funding exceeding $50,000.There are a few assessment criteria and includes the relevance of the proposed project to the applicant’s business, the reasonableness of the budget, the reasonableness of the implementation details and the adverse record of consultants and/or service provider(s).
Each project should normally be completed within 12 months and TVP is open for application throughout the year. We will arrange meetings to further discuss your needs on the technological supports whether which solution work best at your scenario. After reaching an agreement, we will start preparing the documents for the government and start the application. The application will be approved in around two to three months after the commencement date. The final report of the project will be submitted to the government for inspection.
